major ensemble on trumpet and was a member of Collegiate Music Educators National Conference, Mortar Board, Golden Key International Honors Society and the Alpha Society. Mr. Womack also spent a summer in the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps based in Rockford, Illinois. Before coming to Boyd Buchanan School, Mr. Womack was the director of bands at Lookout Valley Middle and High School in Chattanooga. Since coming to Boyd-Buchanan the bands have received superior ratings in both marching and concert band. While under Mr. Womack's leadership the bands have traveled to Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Orlando and Pigeon Forge. Mr. Womack is a member of Music Educators National Conference, Tennessee Music Educators Association, and East Tennessee Band and Orchestra Association. He has also served as both a show coordinator and adjudicator for the US Scholastic Band Association (USSBA).
In addition to his role as the Director of Bands, Mr. Womack has taught Music Theory, General Music and Bible during his tenure.
Recently, he has served as an IT specialist, helping deploy and manage the school's iPad initiative. While in this position, Mr. Womack has presented at the annual iSummit Conference in Atlanta, GA.
In May 2011, Mr. Womack received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
